Martin Frewer was born in Britain where he studied violin & piano from an early age in Winchester. Martin spent his undergraduate years at Oxford. After his degree in Mathematics he continued studying violin at Guildhall Shool of Music with Yfrah Neaman and viola with Nannie Jaimeson as Postgraduate. In 1983 Martin moved to Iceland to play with the Iceland Symphony and he played with them until 2000. He taught violin & directed student orchestras during this time. After 2000 Martin started his career as software developer. Since then along side his programming he has worked intermittently with the Symphony as well as taking part in many chamber music projects including trips to Britain, Italy & Spain and Student String Weekends for which he has composed specially.
